Little Moves Ballet and Creative Dance is a Brisbane based, boutique ballet school for students aged 2-9 years. Little Moves lessons incorporate beautiful hand-made props and costumes, musical instruments, storytelling and much more to engage students and explore movement in a creative and playful way.
Our unique program reflects current research, connecting movement and higher-order thinking, by interlacing educational concepts which support cognitive development, spatial awareness, gross and fine motor skills, and dance technique.
Little Moves values and encourages individual expression and therefore does not require students to wear a uniform. Parents and carers are also warmly welcomed to view each and every Little Moves lesson.
Little Moves has studios located in Wilston and Ashgrove, on Brisbane’s Northside.
Inclusions
Classes:
Prep Moves (5-6yrs) Ballet and Creative Dance
Junior Moves 1 (6-7yrs) Jazz, Musical Theatre, Tap, Lyrical
Ballet Enrichment 1 & 2 (6-8yrs) Ballet and Creative Dance
Junior Moves 2 (7-8yrs) Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Lyrical
Term Three:
Commences Monday 13th July – Saturday 12th September
This package includes 9 x 40 minute classes
These classes run at our Wilston locations.
There are no formal uniforms for Little Moves lessons, however, our students are encouraged to wear clothing which allows for freedom of movement. We therefore recommend basic dance attire (tutu dress, leotard and skirt/tights). Ballet shoes (if needed) can be purchased from our recommended suppliers after your child’s first lesson. A Parent and/or Carer is to be present for the duration of the class. Siblings are of course, allowed to be present and watch the class, however we do ask that you kindly supervise and keep them close by. Please advise your Little Moves teacher prior to class if your child has any special requirements or needs.
