Overview
Speaking Schools Australasia are raising the educational bar by providing children with the soft skills and resilience they need to confidently navigate a constantly changing world.
They facilitate this through offering the best possible public speaking and debating programs to as many students as possible, regardless of background. By providing students with fun, welcoming and safe learning environments, we aim to improve students critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills, all the while helping them build confidence, empathy and resilience.
Inclusions
Students will be enrolled into one of the following workshops. They are two days in duration and run at either Burwood, Moore Park or St Leonards locations. The upcoming camp dates are:
Year 5-6 Public Speaking Hummingbirds
This introductory level course aims to give primary school students a head start on their public speaking and speech writing skills in a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
Year 5-6 Public Speaking Hawks
This workshop, which changes every holiday, helps students develop different specific skills relating to public speaking.
Over the January holidays, the focus will be on English Speeches.
Year 7-9 Experienced Public Speaking
This workshop, which changes every holiday, helps students develop specific public speaking skills.
Over the January holidays, the focus will be on English Speeches.
Year 7-9 Experienced Debating
A fun and interactive workshop that combines multiple practice debates and a range of theoretical sessions to help high school students further flourish as debaters.
